About Wayfinder DPC

Personal, compassionate, and patient-focused healthcare, guided by integrity.

Our Philosophy & Faith

Healthcare should be personal, compassionate, and guided by integrity. Our name, “Wayfinder,” reflects our mission: to help you navigate the often confusing healthcare system with clarity, confidence, and care. We founded Wayfinder DPC to create a practice where patients feel seen, heard, and supported. We want to provide more than just medical care – we want to offer guidance, encouragement, and a trusted partnership for your family’s health journey.

As a Christian-led practice, our faith shapes the way we care for our patients. We aim to reflect values of honesty, compassion, and service in every interaction, treating each individual with dignity and respect. We are committed to guiding families toward better health while upholding principles that honor God and reflect His love through service.

Meet Your Provider

Tyler Zehr, PA-C

I started Wayfinder DPC because I believe in a different kind of healthcare—one built on trust, time, and a direct relationship with your provider, not an insurance company.

I am a board-certified Physician Assistant, fully licensed in Idaho, with extensive experience in family medicine and patient-centered care. I am passionate about guiding patients through their health journey with same-day or next-day access, true preventive care, and personalized attention that goes far beyond a typical 10-minute appointment.

As a Christian-led practice, my faith shapes my approach to care, and I strive to serve each patient with integrity, respect, and compassion. When I'm not in the clinic, I'm fully embracing the Idaho lifestyle and enjoy hiking, camping, running, and fishing in the beautiful Coeur d'Alene area.

The DPC Difference

What is Direct Primary Care (DPC)?

DPC is a simple membership model. For a flat monthly fee, you get direct access to your provider—longer appointments, same/next-day visits, and care via text, phone, or video. We work for you, not the insurance companies.

Do I Still Need Health Insurance?

Yes, absolutely. We recommend all patients have a health insurance plan. Your DPC membership covers all your primary care needs, but it is not insurance. You still need insurance for "catastrophic" events like hospital stays, surgeries, or visits to specialists.
